A Family Adventure

Business owner Betty was destined to work with children—even from a young age, her beloved dolly was never far from her side.

After completing a degree in Early Childhood Studies, she gained experience in nurseries of all shapes and sizes, growing professionally with each role until eventually managing and running childcare businesses for others. A later role in Child Protection Services within the council deepened her knowledge of safeguarding and child welfare.

After starting their own family, Betty and her husband Matthew, began dreaming of opening their own nursery. Living just down the road in Greet, they fell in love with the Hailes Barn site the moment they saw it.

“The fresh air, wide open space, and huge outdoor barn gave us the perfect setting—not just for any childcare business, but the one we've been dreaming about for years,” says Betty. Their vision includes making full use of the land with chickens, a vegetable garden, and plenty of muddy wellies!

This is a venture built on years of hard work, rooted in a genuine passion for childcare and strong family values. “We can't wait to welcome your family into ours.”
